Job Description
The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by marketing and servicing products including but not limited to Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance to new and existing customers. This role assists walk-in customers, supports office operations and markets products outside of the office via marketing calls and visits.• Responsible for sales administration and reporting activities
• Understands, promotes and remains current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures
• Receives customer payments, issues receipts and verifies reports of receipts for cash drawers
• Monitors key competitors in the local market area and makes suggestions on initiatives that could improve the company’s position in the marketplace
• Develops and manages customer relationships and serves as a resource to current and potential customers
• Builds and maintains relationships with community organizations and local businesses
• Implements marketing programs and initiatives which further the National General brand in the local market (car dealerships, local events, etc.)
• Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross selling and retention of current customers
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
• 0-2 years experience (Preferred)
• This job does not have supervisory duties.
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $15.87 - 19.86 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
